Car Rental Terms & Conditions

After signing the contract, our client assumes full responsibility for the condition of the car. When receiving the car, our agency will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure it matches the condition it was rented in.

Driver:
Minimun age of 21 years.

Driver’s license:
The Driver is required to have and display a valid driver’s license issued at least two years ago. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international driver’s license along with their regular driver’s license.

Traffic Violations – Fines:
Traffic violations and fines are borne by the Renter.

Means of Payment:
The deposit can be paid online from our website with credit, debit, and prepaid cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners & Discover.

All card payments are processed through the electronic payment platform “Nexi e-Commerce” of Nexi Payments Greece S.A., which uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol with 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Encryption is a way of coding information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Even if the payment is made in cash, the Renter must provide a valid credit card as a guarantee. The rental fee is prepaid.

In case of cancellation:
If the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before the client’s arrival, the deposit will be refunded to the client (any bank transfer fees are to be covered by the client). For cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.

Additional Driver:
The First Driver is free of charge. Any additional driver is 5€/day. Failure to disclose additional drivers incurs a penalty of 100€.

Fuel:
The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel upon collection. In case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refund will be effected for vehicles returned with more fuel.

Accident:
In case of an Accident, the Renter is obliged to inform the company as well as the police and present the Police Accident Report to the station. In case of an Accident caused by the Renter, the Renter will be charged with 30€ as Administrative fees as well as the rental amount for the days that the vehicle will have to remain out of business.

Insurances:
Insurance against third parties for material damages and bodily injuries. Bodily injuries and material damages that arise from driver’s fault are not covered by the insurance. The vehicles can be insured with the CDW insurance, which comes at an additional cost and eliminates the cost the Renter will have to pay if something goes wrong. 

If anything happens, the Renter will have to pay the maximum amount of 500 € +TAX. If the cost of the damage is higher, the insurance company will cover the rest. The above stand under the condition that there was no violation of the Traffic Regulation. Damages to tires, rims and under the car, are not covered by any insurance, at any car type. No available insurance inside boats/ferries. No available theft insurance, as well as theft of personal belongings.

Road Assistance:
Road assistance due to malfunction of vehicle during working hours is free.

This vehicle is strictly prohibited, without written authorization, to:
– Exit Greek borders
– Be ferried
